The programme’s diverse curriculum encompasses a wide range of disciplines, each offering unique insights into the complex realm of international relations and global development. The faculty’s expertise and the engaging discussions truly broadened my perspective and deepened my knowledge of the dynamic and evolving nature of foreign policy. The programme’s emphasis on research methods, quantitative analysis, and situational models equipped me with invaluable skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and evidence-based decision-making. Through hands-on projects and research assignments, I developed a deep appreciation for rigorous research methodologies and their application in addressing real-world challenges. These skills have not only enriched my academic experience but have also prepared me for a successful career in the field of international relations. Lastly, the inclusion of a foreign language component has been instrumental in enhancing my intercultural communication skills and fostering a deeper understanding of different cultures.
When starting this English-language based Master’s program at the Theory and History of International Relations Department, I hadn’t a slightest idea what an exciting experience it would be! The amount of knowledge we have received; the comprehensive practical skills we have acquired during the years of studies; and finally, the noteworthy friendly attitudes — that distinctive feature of the Chair teachers who have put their heart and soul in our development — those things have no match! And most importantly, I’m sure the unique knowledge that reveals many different aspects of international relations will certainly help me in building a successful career. All the above makes the years spent in the RUDN University the best time of my life ever to be remembered!
As a graduate of the English-based program of the Chair of THIR (Theory and History of International Relations), I’m really proud of the role my Chair plays in the training and professional development of Chinese students. And on behalf of hundreds of Chinese nationals who over the past 50 years have graduated from the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, I would like to express my deep gratitude to all those people who have made their invaluable contribution to this good cause.
Students of the program are interning at the representation of the League of Arab States in Moscow, and we would like to acknowledge the high professionalism and knowledge of the students. We are satisfied with our interaction and the level of expertise of the students, which they have recorded during their internship.
